Send a short, personalized email asking for a 15-minute micro-interview to get their expert quote on a single, specific question.

3. The Interview & Curation

Interview everyone who responds. Your job is to be the journalist. Ask smart follow-up questions to dig deeper. After the interviews, your job shifts to that of a curator. Your goal is to weave the best, most insightful quotes from multiple experts into a single, cohesive long-form article on your blog. The final piece should feel like a virtual roundtable of the smartest people in your industry.

4. Create a Spotlight for Every Expert

When you publish the article, make your experts the heroes. This is the non-negotiable step that builds goodwill and relationships. Give each expert their own distinct section with their professional headshot, their full quote, and a clear credit with a link back to their website and primary social media profile.

5. The Easy Share Promotion

This is where the distribution magic happens. Once the post is live, send a personal email to every expert who contributed. Thank them for their brilliant insight and provide them with everything they need to easily share the content with their own audience:

  • A direct link to the article.
  • A pre-written social media post they can copy and paste or adapt.
  • Custom graphics or quote cards featuring their picture and their specific quote.
